Terms of Service
Effective September 19, 2026
These are the terms for using DynaFlow, the desktop app for working with DynamoDB. By downloading or using DynaFlow, you're agreeing to everything below. We've kept it short and in plain language. Please actually read it, especially the next section.
Your data, your responsibility
DynaFlow is a power tool, and it does exactly what you tell it to. Every edit, delete, query, and write runs directly against your own database, under your own AWS credentials. If you delete or overwrite something, that's a real operation on your real data. DynaFlow has no undo button for your database, and neither do we.
By using DynaFlow, you accept that data loss is on you, not on us. We are not liable for any command executed against any database through the app (including lost, corrupted, or altered data), whether it came from a click, a typo, or a misunderstanding of what an operation would do. Keep backups. Seriously.
Your AWS account and costs
DynaFlow uses the AWS credentials you provide and operates entirely within your AWS account. Anything it does there (including any AWS charges those operations rack up) is between you and AWS.
Licensing
- Core features are free. Pro features require a license: monthly subscription or one-time purchase, as listed on our pricing page.
- Monthly subscribers earn a permanent lifetime license after 12 continuous months.
- We may change our pricing, plans, and licensing at any time. Changes only apply going forward: a new price takes effect for purchases and renewals made after the change, and it never affects a term you've already paid for. Any lifetime license you've already earned or bought stays yours.
- Licenses are tied to your devices via an anonymous hardware fingerprint. Don't share, resell, or redistribute license keys or builds.
- All updates are free for your licensed version. There is no separate charge for new patch, minor, or major releases.
- Don't reverse-engineer the licensing system or circumvent feature gating. Doing so gets a license revoked, and so does disputing a charge (see Payments and refunds).
Teams
A team license is bought by a company, for people using that company's own email domain.
- Seats are a one-time purchase. A seat you've paid for is yours to keep, and it keeps working even if your support lapses.
- The recurring support payment pays for managing the team (adding, removing and reassigning people, changing seats, domain auto-join) and for priority support. It does not pay for the seats themselves.
- If a support invoice goes unpaid past its due date, team management is frozen until it's paid. Pro keeps working for everyone who holds a seat.
- If an invoice stays unpaid more than 30 days past its due date, the team lapses and its support subscription ends. Reactivating a lapsed team requires a late fee and a new support period, and both must be paid before management is restored. Support you didn't pay for while lapsed is never billed afterwards.
- Seats, domains and team membership belong to the company, not to the individual people who hold them.
Payments and refunds
Billing is handled by Stripe. Refund requests are handled case-by-case, and we'll be reasonable about it.
If you have any concern about a charge, email support@dynaflow.dev first. That is always where a billing question or disagreement starts.
Disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback) voids your account immediately. This applies to individual and team accounts alike, and to a dispute of any size. When a charge is disputed:
- the account, and every license it holds, is void and revoked, including lifetime licenses and every seat on a team;
- nothing is refunded;
- the outcome of the dispute does not reinstate the account.
Restoring an account after a dispute is entirely at DynaFlow's discretion, and may require an account restoration fee to be paid first.
Diagnostics and analytics
By using DynaFlow, you agree to our collection of anonymous crash reports, which are always on, and anonymous usage data, which is on by default and can be switched off in Settings, both as described in the Privacy Policy. Neither ever includes your database contents. An anonymous app-open ping is also sent on every launch, so we can count how many people use DynaFlow; like crash reports, it isn't something you can turn off.
No warranty
DynaFlow is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it's bug-free or that it will always behave the way you expect.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising out of your use of DynaFlow is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're never liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including, to be crystal clear, data loss covered above.
Termination
You can stop using DynaFlow anytime. We can suspend or revoke licenses for fraud, abuse, or violating these terms. Lifetime licenses earned or purchased in good faith stay yours, except where a charge is disputed, as described in Payments and refunds.
Changes
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll change the date above and note it in the app or on this site. Continuing to use DynaFlow after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
